Rice Crew is the University’s official competitive rowing club. We row two to three times per week on Mud Lake, a protected offshoot of Clear Lake, and we house our boats in the Bay Area Rowing Club‘s boathouse. We travel to an average of two regattas each semester.
Rice Crew is a great way to expand your knowledge of the sport whether you have rowed before or not. If you are interested in the team, as either a prospective student or a current student, please check out the recruiting page. No prior athletic experience necessary.
